Unboxing and Review of the Bissell Little Green Pet Pro

In this post, we’ll unbox and review the Bissell Little Green Pet Pro, a handy tool for removing pet stains and hair from your furniture. Our test subject is a well-used dog sofa, covered in stains and hair.

Pre-Cleaning with the Pet Hair Eraser

Before we start with the Little Green Pet Pro, we’ll use the Pet Hair Eraser to remove as much pet hair as possible. This isn’t a product review for the Pet Hair Eraser, but it’s a necessary first step to see the full effect of the Little Green Pet Pro.

Unboxing the Bissell Little Green Pet Pro

1. Unboxing:

   • Open the box to reveal the main unit.

   • Inside, you'll find an 8-fluid-ounce urine eliminator and instructions.

2. Attachments:

   • The main attachment is included, labeled as a tough stain tool.

   • A crevice tool is also provided for those hard-to-reach areas.

3. Setup:

   • The cable management is simple, with the cord wrapped around the unit.

   • Rotate the tank to unlock the lid, revealing the clean water and formula tanks.

4. Filling the Tanks:

   • Fill the clean water tank with water and two ounces of cleaning formula.

   • Secure the tanks back into place.

5. Power and Hose Attachment:

   • Plug in the power cord and attach the hose.

   • The trigger on the hose controls the release of the cleaning solution.

Cleaning the Sofa

1. Before Cleaning:

   • The sofa is covered in pet drool and stains, especially where the dog sits the most.

2. Cleaning Process:

   • Apply the solution to the stains using the trigger on the hose.

   • The vacuum suctions up the dirty water, pulling out dirt and drool from the fabric.

3. Results:

   • Immediately after cleaning, the stains are significantly reduced.

   • The sofa looks much cleaner, though some stubborn stains remain.

Post-Cleaning Observations

1. Drying Time:

   • The sofa dried within four to five hours, thanks to low humidity in the area.

2. Effectiveness:

   • The dirty water tank shows how much grime was removed, indicating the cleaning was effective.

   • While most stains were removed, a few persistent ones might require a stronger solution or additional cleaning.

3. Overall Satisfaction:

   • For tougher stains, consider using a mixture of vinegar and laundry detergent.
