Anvil 28-inch Lopper Tree Pruning | Demo | Gardening Tools
Hello! I hope you're doing well. Today, I'm going to show you the Anvil 28-inch Lopper, a great tool for pruning trees that have grown out of control. I needed to trim a tree in my yard, and the branches were too thick for regular scissors, so I got this lopper.
First Impressions
The Anvil 28-inch Lopper felt super comfortable to hold and use. As you can see in the video, it cuts through branches easily. The blades are very sharp, making the job quick and efficient.
Using the Lopper
Here’s what I experienced while using the lopper:
The handles are ergonomic, providing a good grip and reducing hand fatigue.
The blades cut through branches up to 1.25 inches in diameter with ease.
Most branches snapped off on the first try, without needing multiple cuts.
I had to trim branches hanging over the back wall and some higher branches. For the thicker, more mature branches, I used a battery-powered chainsaw, which I’ll show in a different video.
Unfortunate Technical Issue
Unfortunately, my phone overheated halfway through the job and stopped recording. I missed capturing a cool moment with a praying mantis that landed on my leg. By the time my phone cooled down, the mantis was gone.
Final Thoughts
Overall, the Anvil 28-inch Lopper performed excellently. It’s perfect for trimming smaller branches and maintaining the overall shape of your trees. The sharp blades and comfortable handles make it a great tool for any gardener.
If you have branches up to 1.25 inches in diameter, this lopper should work just fine. I’m very happy with how it handled the task, and I’m sure you’ll find it useful too.
Enjoy the video demo, and thanks for watching!
